During the citytrip we had a busy schedule with many different sights; from architectural firms to impressive Swedish architecture. First, we visited the famous public library of Gunnar Asplund. This project is Asplund’s most important work next to the design of Skogskyrkogården cemetery. This cemetery was designed in collaboration with architect Sigurd Lewerentz which represents architecture in combination with nature. The main purpose of visiting Stockholm was to analyse the location of the graduation project. My location is located in the Northern part of Stockholm and is situated besides the University campus. Besides visiting the location we went to two architectural firms to investigate the way of designing in Sweden. From a small company to the largest firm of Scandinavia: General Architecture - White.
